Online reputation monitoring has become a big deal in recent years. Many businesses have discovered that the internet can be a powerful ally, as long as they have it on their side. Tools like Rankur are nothing new at this point. Some offer new ways to handle the task of online reputation management. For the most part, Rankur provides many of the same features that its competitors offer. This is partly because these types of tools work effectively. What makes Rankur different is that it scans review sites for local businesses and has an unique topic extraction method.
Rankur is intended for professionals and companies, and that really shows through its tidy user interface. The application uses very subtle hints of color and a clutter free design to give professionals a place to gather information without unwanted fluff or brightly colored graphics to get in the way. Line charts are displayed with hints of color, but remain primarily grey. Although Rankur isn’t entirely beautiful, it manages to get the job done with minimal distractions.
